In Turpentine's case, it will be interesting to watch how much they focus on podcasts vs. expand to other platforms. There's likely a trade off between building deep expertise in one medium (though still multiple platforms, in the case of podcasts) vs. providing creators the opportunity to grow across mediums like email or video.
